The monthly support amount can be reduced or increased based on a few factors. Some of these factors include, but are not limited to: extraordinary health care expenses, if the paying parent’s income fluctuates seasonally, if the child earns income by themselves, the age of the child, or if the child support totals 55% or more of the paying parent’s income.
